Land law and governance

Undoubtedly, land is the surface on which natural resources in general, and mineral and forest resources in particular, are exploited. Unfortunately, however, it also harbors many other interests, as it is the site of other development and conservation activities. Most importantly, the land is the living environment of communities who carry out subsistence activities on it. This pressure on the land naturally creates significant socio-economic and environmental impacts, which it is urgent and essential to curb in order to maintain the balance between the state's production and conservation objectives.
